私人電子圖書館

過去幾天都在整理我的 e-Library。大部分的e-book都在 Library Genesis下載，然後按照我的分類放到 Google Drive。最終，我選了 KyBook 3 在 iPad 上看。當中還用了 AutoMetadata 和 EpubMetadataEditor 花了蠻多時間整理上千本書，現在已經分門別類的整齊安放好了。

Organizing Readings

Last year, one friend of friends introduced to me the website Library Genesis which has archived about 2 million books (including magazines, journals etc). I was astonished by its collections, speed of updates and ease of navigating and downloading.

Accompanied by this interesting discovery, I installed Google Drive so as to build a library by organizing books into catalogs, and make it available to all the electronic devices that I have.

After that, I picked KyBook as the preferred ebook reader for my iPad. Unfortunately, KyBook only supports iOS, so I need to use different readers on different devices.

2019 名古屋

1月9日至1月13日去了金泽，高山，白川乡和名古屋。金泽的兼六园和金泽城非常优雅和安静，日本的庭院美学很讲究。相比之下，高山比较平民和一般，唯一卖点是它的飞驒牛肉。白川乡范围不大，虽然有雪景，但有点典型旅游景点味道。名古屋物价（主要吃喝，交通）不便宜，来往不同地点的JR更是昂贵。

1. Portfolio value was down by 5%. 
2. Both market and portfolio volatility were very high. At the trough, unrealized portfolio loss were as high as 15% to 20%.
3. Trade tension between US and China was a critical determinant on market movement. Luckily, none of the positions was subject directly to the US-China trade tariff threat.
4. Portfolio turnover was at record high, as a result of too many market timing trades.
5. Unrealized loss of three positions ranged from 20% to 68%. This was mitigated by contribution from two major profit makers and a dividend yield of 2%.
